Jim, an electrical engineer and builder, and Marianne, an artist, built and developed Ox Glen Vacation Rentals, on its lovely 13 acre retreat over 20 years ago. It sits at the head of the beautiful Reems Creek Valley, on historic Ox Creek Road. Today, Ox Creek Road is a lovely paved county road connecting the Blue Ridge Parkway with the village of Weaverville and I-26, but yesterday it was an oxen-driven wagon road carting folks through the mountain pass above.
